Annie Hodge is an analytical and strategic writer and designer whose work, no matter the task at hand, is guided by two principles: “brevity is the soul of wit” and “quality over quantity.” None of that is to say that she does not value long-form, in actuality she has a bit of a soft spot for it, but rather speaks to her dedication to genuine content. She believes deeply in intentional decision-making and in the constant pursuit of strong verbiage. Along with these writing pillars, she also enjoys the challenge of implementing contrast as a means of exploring the stuffy alongside the fresh. She finds reading to be the best form of studying in conjunction with of course routine refreshers from The Elements of Style.

She has written for larger organizations as well as smaller brands, and as a result, she has gained experience writing in different tones and voices. Complementing this work is her experience designing for diverse projects whilst utilizing storytelling to inform her art direction.

Born and raised in Atlanta, she is an adamant city apologist who aims to see as many of them as she can, continue to collect prints, and hopes that La Croix never shutters.
